I’ve had a few people of late ask if I photograph people for business head shots, and the answer is yes, yes I do! I find this time of the year a great planning and house keeping time, to do all the end of financial year stuff, plan for the next six months of the year and do things like spruce up the online profiles. Be they your website, social networking, LinkedIn or even a dating profile So here are the details, drop me a line to book a spot on either of the days in July.

Sticking with the winter theme I seem to be running this week, I did mention gorgeous coats and loads of hugs? These images were taken towards the end of last winter, did I mention I’m behind on my blogging lol! Since this shoot, these guys have been engaged, married and are expecting their first baby really soon. I know I say this a lot about my clients, but these guys were just so relaxed, fun and so in love. It really was beautiful to see them together and such an honour to take their portraits prior to the next stage in life. Guys, wishing you all the best on the arrival of your little person, you will make amazing parents. B xx
Brrr!! So winter is here, never fear! It doesn’t mean you have to wait to have your portraits taken! Winter means warm coats, umberellas and Melbourne in a whole different light, literally. As in winter provides beautiful soft light. And not just cute little people in raincoats and wellies can have their photos taken. This session was of ‘Big kids’ with Mum and Dad, which can mean coffee and cake whilst waiting for the rain to ease. Melbourne city, I do love you so! And I love the images of this gorgeous family too. B x
Think you need a lot of space to have me come into your home for portraits? Then you’d think wrong! Kate and I had planned to meet in the gardens with her three boys, unfortunately we were rained out. Due to not being able to rebook our shoot so close to Christmas, we opted to go back to her place instead. Kate lives in a terrace house, but has a fab playroom upstairs with great light. After moving a few things (as you do in a playroom!) we literally had a meter and a half of clear space against this wall. See! That’s all you need! And I think you’d agree, the end result is pretty damn good (if I say so myself!) Kate, your boys are gorgeous and very, very funny! I had a ball. xx
I love birthdays, especially milestone ones as they are extra special and need extra special celebrations. Yummy food, gorgeous location and weather. But best of all, good company! I hope you had a wonderful birthday Judy, thanks so much for having me. xx
A quick after school trip to check out my location for Sundays Autumn sessions. This is how NOT to dress your children for a shoot, covered in logos and and a spiderman suit that is clearly WAY too small. Thanks goodness its his birthday next week so he will be getting a new suit! I have two sessions left for Sunday afternoon, buzz me if you want to come and play in the leaves! This is the only day I will be in healesville, the May session will be in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, so call me quick if this is where you would like to be! B x
Very early morning start to meet this gorgeous little guy and his Mumma down at Jan Juc. And all he wanted to do was eat sand and seaweed. Hilarious for us, apparently upsetting for him when it was taken away! Here are some of the images from our morning. Big O, your images of little O are on their way. B xx
And these two rascals didn’t disappoint, hilarious! Brother and sister that are equally funny and up for a laugh, be it laying on the grass or up in a tree! So glad you hung out for your session Kate. It was perfect weather, so worth the wait and so lovely to meet you and your gorgeous family. B x
Yep, 2015 feels like its flying by. Im running my annual Autumn mini sessions again this year, limited sessions are available. They are super popular, so don’t delay contacting me for a booking. Autumn is one of my fave seasons, so much colour and fun! Who doesn’t want to run about in knee deep leaves and throw them on top of Mum and Dad (and usually the photographer too!) Packages start at $190 which includes some prints and digital files. To wet those taste buds, here is some Autumn colour from years past. Grab a cuppa, there are a few! B x
